Brooklyn Vintage and Vinyl was established on November 12, 2016 by owner Diane Perez due to her passion for vinyl records. Diane a Miami native, started collecting vinyl records at the age of 12 when she received her first stereo system and as the story goes, the rest is history.
This led to acquiring her first record the Beastie Boys ‘Licensed to Ill’ a record she still currently owns and treasures dearly to this day. Due to Diane’s passion for vinyl records it was only right for her to pursue her passion and open a record shop. After 22 years in a corporate setting and finding a location in the neighborhood of Allapattah where she grew up, she quit her job and never looked back.
Brooklyn Vintage and Vinyl was voted 'Best Record Store' in 2017 by the Miami New Times.
The shop is centrally located inside an art gallery 'The Collective Miami', on the corner of 35th Street and NW 7th AVE, in Allapattah just minutes away from Wynwood.
